  4.   Five functions in one box give your 800XL or 130XE the leading edge in
  5. performance and execution.

  7.   1)  RAMdisk:
  8.                 Choose from two versions; 256K or 1 MEG.  Built in software
  9.                 allows the RAM to be partitioned into multiple disks as
  10.                 desired.  The Multi I/O has its own AC power supply which
  11.                 allows the RAM to retain its memory when the computer is off.

  13.   2)  Parallel Printer Interface:
  14.                 A 'centronics' type parallel interface which uses a standard
  15.                 850 cable.  Accessed as P1: or P2: with or without LF.

  17.   3)  Serial Printer/Modem Interface:
  18.                 This port accepts either a serial printer or RS232 type modem.
  19.                 The 850 handler is built in; always there when needed, which
  20.                 means an extra 1800 bytes of free memory!  Built in software
  21.                 also allows a serial printer to appear as a parallel printer
  22.                 and provides it with XON/XOFF software handshaking.

  24.   4)  Print Spooler:
  25.                 Use any amount of RAM as a print spooler.  Works with either
  26.                 of the specified printer ports.  Built in software features:
  27.                 Pause, Resume, Repeat Copies, Clear, and set spooler Size.

  29.   5)  Hard Disk Interface:
  30.                 Supports up to eight SASI and SCSI controllers at the same
  31.                 time to use industry standard 5-1/4" and/or 3-1/2" hard drives.
